Originally owned by William McEwan, of the brewing dynasty, this venue really is one-of-a-kind, with beautiful features; Baroque doors and magnificent staircases with minstrel’s gallery are topped with an engraved glass dome.

The main function suite comprises of The Helen Duncan Room and The Mary Duffy Room, both with ornate cornices, chandeliers and marble fireplaces. Both rooms look out to St Mary’s Cathedral gardens, right at the heart of this beautiful city.

The Sanctury holds 60 people theatre-style and is a perfect, peaceful space to have your ceremony. For a fun drinks reception, invite your guests to have a glass of champagne in The Sherlock Holmes Tearoom!
