#Throwback Thursday: Rustic Metallic + Geometric Styled Shoot with Cakes, Flowers + Stationery

In our  summer ’16 issue of Scottish Wedding Directory magazine, we headed to Killearn Village Hall and spent the day surrounded by unique wedding cakes, stylish stationery and, of course, gorgeous floral arrangements. We absolutely loved how this shoot turned out- so we’ve decided to share it with you again!

There are so many gorgeous wedding trends for Scottish weddings around right now, and we’ve picked a few of our favourites for this themed shoot.

First up, bringing the outside indoors: fresh green with pops of white; rustic, distressed wood, crystal clear vases, bottles and jars and lots and lots of foliage!

Then we move into our absolute summer fave: metallics and geometric shapes. Glittering gold paired with sequins; metallic cakes with drip details and bronze, Mediterranean inspired make-up are still bang on trend.
