Do you love the look of dramatic, atmospheric elopement photos in exotic settings but HATE the thought of actually saying ‘I do’ anywhere but home?
With James Kelly Photography’s exciting new Adventure Wedding Shoot package, you can get the best of both worlds.
How normal wedding photography works
James has been working in wedding photography for 10 years so he has a winning routine in place when it comes to successfully photographing weddings.
He always starts with a mandatory engagement shoot with couples – it lets him spend some time getting to know you, the bride and groom-to-be, helping you feel more comfortable in front of the camera before your big day arrives.
Before the wedding, if James doesn’t happen to already be familiar with your venue, he scouts out the place and surrounding area to find the best photo spots and all the extra special vantage points.
Pushing comfort zones
He then uses all this insider knowledge to push you both out of your comfort zones!
How? On the wedding itself, he captures all the little and big moments that happen throughout but also encourages the bride and groom to take a bit of time away from the celebrations.
He finds that venturing a little further afield, often jumping in the car for a short break in the evening to capture those stunning night shots that he’s become known for, lets him get that perfect shot AND also gives you newlyweds a wee bit of quality time together away from guests to reflect on your day so far.
Getting more adventurous
Although his approach works, James has noticed a few drawbacks – mostly around actually having time to venture away from the venue in the middle of a wedding, particularly when it comes to dark winter evenings.
And so, the idea of adventure sessions was born!
As well as combining James’ love of wedding and landscape photography, this exciting new offering from the talented photographer is a great way for couples to get adventurous, truly one-of-kind wedding photos.
How it works
Sign up for this package and here’s what you’ll get: around 6 weeks after your wedding (although the timing is super flexible, it’s aimed in the autumn, winter and spring months for maximum effect), you and your partner will get all dressed up in your wedding glad rags again, and spend a day shooting somewhere with an amazing background.
Be it up the Cairngorms, in the middle of picturesque beaches or on one of the beautiful islands off the coast, you’ll be spoiled for choice for locations in Scotland.
And here’s the really great part – you can also choose to shoot somewhere really special to you as a couple that just wasn’t a feasible location for your actual big day (like up the first munro you ever climbed as a couple, for example).
It’s obviously a great option if you’re an outdoorsy couple but even if you’re not, with James to act as your guide it’ll also be a brilliant experience that’ll leave you with truly spectacular, one-of-a-kind wedding photos you’ll cherish forever.
