A couple of years ago, Australian wedding dress designer Grace Loves Lace hit the headlines for being the creator of the world’s most-pinned wedding dress, ‘Hollie’ (pictured below), which has been pinned to Pinterest boards more than 2.5 million times.
If you’re one of the many brides-to-be who’s been coveting a Grace Loves Lace dress for your own big day, you’ll be pleased to learn that the designer’s 2018 collection, Icon, has just landed on its online store.
Rather unusually for a wedding dress designer, the gowns “ which are handmade using French lace and Italian silks “ can be purchased online and shipped to the UK.
If you’re nervous about buying without trying (which, tbh, is a bit of an expensive risk to take), there’s a Grace Loves Lace showroom in London where you can arrange a one-on-one appointment to try on the gowns.
Scottish model Amanda Hendrick recently did just that ahead of her forthcoming wedding to JJ Peters, frontman of the band Deez Nuts, and even posted a glimpse of her dress on Instagram.
Wonder what style she’s gone for?
THE GRACE LOVES LACE 2018 ICON COLLECTION
For the new Grace Loves Lace 2018 Icon collection, founder and creative director Megan Ziems has remained true to the brand’s carefree aesthetic; perfect for brides who dream of wearing a boho wedding dress.
Speaking of her desire to create wedding dresses that are comfortable and easy to wear, Ziems, who found inspiration in the supermodels of the 90s, said: “The notion that wild women should not be tamed is the very reason we refuse to hold them back with restrictive, rigid elements like boning, corseting and heavy fabrics.”
