Advertising FeatureWhat will 2019/2020 brides be wearing to their weddings?

Find out the latest in bridal fashion for 2019 from the leading names in bridal design, coming together at the end of March for London Bridal Fashion week and White Gallery.

Savin London

One of the many unmissable trends from London Bridal Fashion Week incorporating White Gallery is oversized embellishment.

Designers are covering gowns with bold accents, with the use of feathered skirts, 3D flowers and bows featuring prominently in many collections.

Feathered skirts offer a stylish edge while remaining subtle, and this is evident in Pronovias’ Risuena gown. The marvellous mermaid gown radiates elegance, while the feathered skirt creates a feminine look.

Ronald Joyce’s gowns also feature the oversized embellishment trend with many of the designs including 3D flowers.

Bows can be found in Savin London’s designs and are a statement piece for the fashion-forward, confident bride.

Beside Couture by Gemy

Phoenix Gowns

Another key trend we expect to see is detailed embroidery.

Leading brands will be showcasing this trend throughout their collections, including a selection of Phoenix Gowns dresses that have stunning star details and Beside Couture by Gemy designs that feature intricate fabric work.

Elbeth Gillis

Minimalism at its finest, many designers have chosen simple detailing in their designs.

Elbeth Gillis Luminescence Collection features many satin wedding gowns.

Another designer bringing the simple silhouettes trend to White Gallery 2019 is Theia.

With simple detailing in many of their gowns, they show that sometimes less, is in fact, more.

Savannah Miller

The two-in-one trend is about to take the bridal world by storm this Spring. Showcasing several two-in-one looks are designers such as Peony Rice and Savannah Miller.

This new trend is perfect fashion-forward brides who love to stay in style.

Ronald Joyce

Justin Alexander

Wedding jumpsuits are here to stay and this year seeing even more brands including Ronald Joyce, E&W Couture and Justin Alexander adding this look to their portfolio.

Making a statement on your wedding day or breaking traditions is easy with this trend.

These designers have created stunning jumpsuits that are the definition of elegance and sophistication.

Take a peek inside Dear Diary’s stylish ‘I Do’ wedding journal

Because your wedding plans deserve to look *this* pretty.

BUY | ‘I Do’ Wedding Planner by Dear Diary

Ever since I got engaged last summer, I’ve been on the look out for a beautiful wedding journal.

As the queen of stationery (seriously, my now-fiance can’t understand my love of a pretty notebook), I wanted my big day planning book to be something different.

I came across the Dear Diary company, founded by three friends who wanted a daily agenda that could organise their lives in an inspiring way. Following on from the success of their planners, they launched the ‘I Do’ Wedding Journal – and it ticked all my boxes.

For a start, the journal even comes in its own cotton back with ‘all I see is magic’ printed on – such a cute presentation, making it perfect as a gift for a bride-to-be!

The quotes continue inside, with love and relationship quotes at the beginning of each section.

I love that there’s space for the practical info, like budgeting and guest list, but there’s also extras, like moodboards for different aspects of your wedding and even a post-big day wedding reflection section to give space for highlights and favourites moments of the special day.

The team created the journal to be your keepsake that holds all the wedding excitement in one place, with their hope being that it stays with you as a treasure that warms your heart every time you open it, even years after that beautiful day you said ‘I do’ to each other – such a sweet idea!

My wedding planing has officially started!

Win your bestie a designer treat for Galentine’s Day 2019!

Let your best friend know how much you love her with our Galentine’s Day competition.

Your bestie is there for you through everything and, chances are, she’s your bridesmaid too and helping you plan your big day!

For Galentine’s Day 2019, we thought she deserves a little ‘thank you’, so we’re giving away a bottle of Jimmy Choo Blossom Special Edition for you to gift your bestie.

Plus, we’ll even add in a little treat for you too. Well, it is Galentine’s Day after all.

Taking note of the bright colours and delicious scents that begin to emerge after the long winter months, the fragrance comes complete with a seriously Instagram-worthy pink glitter box and bottle.

Opening with a sweet accord of exotic fruits, the new fragrance is given a sparkling edge with its heart of frangipani flower. The scent mellows to a sensual base of sandalwood, offering up a simultaneous evocation of sophistication and warmth.

Simply head to our Facebook or Instagram page and leave a comment under the competition post, tagging your bestie and the emoji that is most suited to them.

Winner will be randomly selected and notified via direct message. For full T+C’s, click here.

Good luck!

Our favourite award season 2019 dresses that give serious inspo for wedding style

Award season is fully upon us – and it’s giving us lots of big day ideas.

From the BAFTAs to the Grammys, here’s the looks that have caught our eye this week and provide great inspiration for wedding day style.

The Duchess of Cambridge

Embracing a one shouldered gown with delicate floral detailing, Kate is giving us all the elegant bridal vibes in this Alexander McQueen dream. Top marks for her very glamorous Jimmy Choo heels too!

Millie Mackintosh

IMAGE | Instagram

The always stylish star opted to wear a Kate Halfpenny blush pink dress. Millie’s wedding dress was also designed by Halfpenny and we think this look is a perfect alternative bridal look. Just look at those ruffles!

Olivia Colman

IMAGE | Instagram

Sleek and chic, Olivia’s monochrome masterpiece makes a serious style statement. We especially love the train – major big day inspo!

Eleanor Tomlinson

We’re taking style notes from this Ralph & Russo asymmetric design. The bow, the embellishment and the flattering panelling could all inspire an a-ma-zing bridesmaid look.

Laura Whitmore

Presenter Laura went for a metallic gown from British bridal designer, Amanda Wakeley. Simply gorgeous!

Jada Pinkett Smith

IMAGE | Instagram

Want your wedding dress to have the wow-factor? Take inspo from Jada’s Robert Cavalli gown. How gorgeous would a feather train like that look when you walk down the aisle?!

Dua Lipa

IMAGE | Instagram

Can Dua Lipa’s dazzling dress be our ‘something blue’ please? Her Atelier Versace gown even has the most amazing train – 100% wedding day style inspo!

Maren Morris

IMAGE | Instagram

You will know and love bridal designer Galia Lahav from some of our fave real life weddings, but their designs are red carpet ready too as American singer Maren shows us. That pop of colour is giving us bridesmaid style goals!

Alicia Keys

IMAGE | Instagram

Showing style doesn’t need to be over-complicated, we think Alicia’s understated long-sleeved red dress is perfect inspo if you’re looking for an on-trend, elegant style for your ‘maids.

Ariana Grande

Although Ariana ended up not performing at the Grammy’s as planned, the star still decided to show off this princess-worthy Zac Posen creation. Well, if we had a dress that looked that good, we’d just wear it around the house too!
