Blogger’s wedding days: how our Instagram favourites got married!

If you’re anything like us, you won’t be able to resist a daily (er, hourly?) scroll through Instagram.

We love seeing our favourite bloggers share their latest outfits, home decor and to-die-for travel destinations – the envy is real!

Of course, we get a little extra excited when bloggers share a glimpse into their wedding day and wow, have we have been seriously spoiled over the past few weeks with not one, not two but three bloggers’ big days to obsess over!

Ever since we caught the first glimpse of Scottish blogger Kate La Vie‘s engagement ring on Instagram, we knew her wedding would be seriously chic and stylish.

We were delighted to see her post at the weekend on Insta, announcing her secret elopement with fiance Jordan. The happy couple chose to get hitched in NYC, just the two of them, followed by a wedding day picnic in Central Park where they called  their friends and families to let them know they were now Mr and Mrs – so sweet! We also love Kate’s stunning wedding dress and flowers; such a beautiful modern take on bridal.

Fitness blogger Carly Rowena managed to keep her wedding a surprise from not only her loyal followers, but friends and family too. She and now-husband Leon invited their nearest and dearest to a party for Leon’s 30th birthday, which was actually a secret wedding day!

Carly announced the news of the 27th May wedding to her followers via a beautifully shot video on her YouTube channel (you can watch it here). The happy couple danced the night away and Carly wore a dreamy lace dress by Grace Loves Lace.

W E D I D I T ✨Today i woke up with a new surname after marrying my best friend, under the sunshine with the people who mean the world to me, we kept it secret because we wanted those people who would be there for you no matter the occasion, we lost too many people last year & didn’t want to leave getting married (just because we could) to one day find those people we cared about weren’t there. We told my parents the night before using the video you guys have just seen on my YT Channel! I have so much to tell you so keep checking in as ill tell you everything soon! But for now im going to have a bath & finish the rest of our donuts with my husband! (Thank you to EVERYONE for being there!!) 🤗 #WeDidIt #justmarried #bestdayever Photo credit @_lovaine_

We do love to hear how a real bride planned her big day and Anna from The Anna Edit has written a whole blog post on just that (you can read it here).

Her big day last weekend was filled with family, friends and lots of laid-back vibes, down to the wedding feast of Dominos pizzas and G&Ts – sounds blissful!
