THE MODELS | ZOE MCKINLAY + JORDAN THOMPSON

Our gorgeous cover stars have modelled for some seriously impressive fashion designers. Zoe was hand-picked by an Armani stylist to be part of the Armani store opening show (“That was one of my first jobs so it was so cool,” she says), while Jordan – who has modelled in London, Milan and Paris – got his very first booking from none other than Chanel. “I love that I get to travel to amazing locations and work with some really cool creative people,” he says.

THE FLORIST | FLORAL DESIGN BOUTIQUE

Florist Amanda Mulgrew got creative with the flowers for this shoot, making decorative floral hoops (“They’d be the perfect addition to any DIY or barn venue,” she says), a hoop bouquet with trailing ribbons – such a fun, different way to carry your flowers! – and a buttonhole for our groom. “This look is perfect for a laid-back wedding with summer vibes,” says Amanda, who used foliage and flowers such as anemones and ranunculus for a fresh from-the-garden vibe.

THE MUA | SOPHIE ALEXIS MAKE-UP

“We wanted this look to be fresh and uncontrived,” says Sophie of Sophie Alexis Make-up. “I’ve got a feeling in the next year we’re going to lose all this ‘instaglam’ and revert back to more natural minimal looks.” Illamasqua Radiance Veil was swept over Zoe’s cheekbones, eyelids and the tip of her nose. “I applied Mac Studio Fix foundation, lightened with moisturiser, then added more Radiance Veil to make it more dewy,” says Sophie, who finished the look with a subtle wash of Mac Creme blend Blush in Lilicent.

THE HAIR STYLIST | KERRY LAING

“It’s all about undone, unstructured hair just now,” says Kerry of Kerry Anne Bridal Hair, who prepped Zoe’s hair with L’Oreal Techniart Pli before softly curling with a 19mm barrel wand. “I then did two regular ponytails then rope braided and crossed them across the top of her head, and added flowers to make it even more boho. As it was so soft and undone, we took the hair down later and got two styles out of it.”

With special thanks to the fabulous new venue The Rhynd in St Andrews; perfect for your rustic wedding!
