Welcome
April is always a great month here at The Scottish Wedding Directory as it means the summer issue of Real Life Weddings hits the newstands. The SWD's little sister features weddings from brides just like you - and with every issue we discover new ideas, practical advice and hot tips that can help make your day even more special. One of our favourite stories this time around came from a bride who wanted the comfort of flip flops to wear with her gown, but loved the look of a much more stylish but painful pair of shoes - her fiance got out his power tools and moulded the two pairs together! How's that for true love?! You can pick up Real Life Weddings - and with it bags of inspiration - at your local newsagent or order online. If you want to take advantage of all the latest discounts, updates and suggestions to help you plan your wedding, then read on...
All the best!

They are starting a 'by appointment only' bridal fitting service, which will run on Sundays starting from May 6th 2007. The idea is to offer brides-to-be an exclusive luxurious fitting service in the privacy of the Boudiche boutique. Appointments cost £30, of which £25 is redeemable against purchases on the evening. Your session will last approximately one hour - long enough to sample some delicious nibbles and a mini bottle of sparkling pink wine, and to browse their gorgeous lingerie ranges. And of course you will be fitted by their expert staff too. Bridesmaids, friends and mums are naturally welcome to come along too.
