"We wanted a venue that represented us, so that meant somewhere in the country that was quite rustic and felt down-to-earth. We then spoke about having our ceremony down by the river, near the bridge at Potarch, as it is a beautiful location and we could then have the reception at the Potarch Hotel."

"Carberry was the first venue we looked at – it was recommended by a friend and I knew instantly that we’d found our place.
The grounds were stunning, with a beautiful, tree lined driveway on arrival, yet it had a relaxed atmosphere and was very welcoming. And it looked very Scottish."

"I knew Blair Castle from my childhood holidays in Perthshire with my parents. When Tammy and I visited Scotland in November 2009, we went to the castle and were stunned
by it."

"The minute we walked in the front door I think we knew Crear was the only place we needed to see. The studio, with its full-length glass window and stunning view over to the Paps of Jura, was flooded with light and had the simple but elegant style we love. Crear is also a fantastically flexible venue so we had the freedom to do what we wanted. It was a blank canvas in a sense."
