What wedding flowers do I need?

Are Trying to work out what wedding flowers you will need? Then be sure to print out our wedding flower checklist to stick in your wedding book! Of course you don't need to have all of the following flowers but this list should ensure you remember to choose the best flowers for your big day!Klaklak

Wedding flowers for the bride Two bridal bouquets – one to toss into the crowd and one to keep

For the mums:
Two corsages and thank-you bouquets to be presented during the speeches

For the bridesmaids:
Bouquets, often a smaller version of the bridal bouquet

For the boys:
Buttonholes for the groom, best man, ushers, father of the bride/groom. Other guests will generally buy their own

For the wee ones:
Posies for the flower girls, or you could give them baskets full of petals to scatter along the aisle. Traditionally the flower girl looks after the chief bridesmaid's bouquet while she is looking after the bride's!

For the ceremony venue:
Pew ends, floral displays on pedestals and arrangements for the altar (if you're having a church wedding). And don't forget fresh petals makes great (and environmentally friendly) confetti!

For the reception venue:
Centrepieces as well as flowers to decorate any focal points – such as windowsills and fireplaces. You might also wish to use flowers at the entrance way and bar area.
