The SCOTTISH WEDDING DIRECTORY is
a 560 page magazine and directory, split into two - The Directory and
Scottish Wedding Venues*. The magazine was founded by Mr George Leckie,
whose daughter was trying to arrange a wedding in her native country
and found there was little written material to help. George decided
that it was high time there was, and the SWD was born. The first copy
of the SWD was sold in 1995 and, as the magazine has spread in
popularity, we have come to encompass every possible service you would
require to organise a wedding in Scotland. We issue a Spring/Summer edition in January and an Autumn/Winter edition in July.
Our company is based in Glasgow and we have a small team who strive to
produce one of the most helpful information resources for families and
couples getting married in Scotland.

Our Real Life Weddings magazine is also issued in April and October
every year, featuring real stories of weddings that have happened in
Scotland, with a large directory of suppliers for a stimualting and
informative read.
Oh yes - we also have this website, a younger sister to the
magazine, established in 1999. It contains the directory part of the
printed magazine, plus lots of features, news and fun that we can't put
into the mag. Thanks for your interest - we hope that you enjoy the
site as much as we've enjoyed producing it!
*The two magazines are sold together.
